The cost of the SAFe® POPM certification course and exam can vary depending on the training provider and location. On average, the course fee ranges from $700 to $800.
Yes, the SAFe® POPM certification is valid for one year, and it needs to be renewed annually to maintain certification status.
To renew your SAFe® POPM certification, you must earn 10 continuing education (CE) credits and pay an annual fee of $100. You can earn CE credits by attending relevant training courses, participating in agile events and activities, and completing self-study courses.
The SAFe® POPM exam is a web-based, closed-book exam consisting of 45 multiple-choice questions. Participants have 90 minutes to complete the exam, and a passing score of 35 or more correct answers out of 45 is required.
If you don’t pass the SAFe® POPM exam on your first attempt, you can retake the exam up to three times within six months from the date of your first attempt. The second attempt can be done immediately after the first one, but the third attempt requires a 10-day wait period. If you don’t pass on your third attempt, you’ll need to wait for 30 days before you can make a fourth attempt. The exam costs $50 for each retake attempt. The first attempt is included in the course registration fee if you take the exam within 30 days of completing the course.
After passing the SAFe® POPM exam, you can log in to your Scaled Agile account to download your digital certificate and badge.
You receive your SAFe® POPM certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., the organization that developed and maintains the Scaled Agile Framework®.
